Tron

1982 science fiction movie Tron was written and directed by Steven Lisberger.  It stars Jeff Bridges, Cindy Morgan and Bruce Boxleitner.  A computer programmer is transported inside the software arena of a mainframe computer, where he interacts with various programs in his attempt to get back out to the real world.  The sequel Tron: Legacy was released in December 2010 and saw the return of Bridges, Lisberger, and Boxleitner.
